90% of the people I've encountered just delete their alt after making a statement such as this, and then make a new character with a different name to "appear" to have "Left the Game for good". (They forget their PSN name is attached to all of their characters...) AKA your statement has no purpose other than grandstanding. If you were really going to leave the game, you wouldn't proclaim it unless you were a well known character who had some kind of representative stake in the game...
Believing and reality is two different thingies.
Logic isnt between these two articles.
